Welcome, we are Miracle Theatre
We’ve been popping up with our stages and stories in rural communities across the south west and beyond for more than 47 years.
Miracle Theatre works with artists, writers and communities to bring original, inventive shows to extraordinary places — from cliff tops and castles to village halls and theatres across the Southwest.
Our audiences, artists and communities make each production possible — and now, through our Miracle Friends scheme, you can help shape what comes next.
Friends enjoy being part of the journey: getting behind-the-scenes news, priority updates and the satisfaction of knowing you’re supporting live theatre that reaches every corner of Cornwall and beyond.
Join us in creating new work, nurturing young talent and making sure there’s always a Miracle just around the corner.
As a busy touring theatre company and registered charity, we always welcome a helping hand to keep our shows on the road. Affectionately referred to as “Miracle workers,” our volunteers are a vital part of our team. They help us welcome audiences, assist with front-of-house duties, and ensure we deliver quality performances to more communities. In return, we offer a friendly and warm atmosphere, training and resources, plus the opportunity to see our shows for free. Interested in joining our theatre family?
Whilst our roots are firmly in theatre, we have recently produced the Young Fishers podcast because we believe powerful storytelling extends beyond the stage. With this project, we wanted to amplify the voices of people in the fishing community, an industry central to our local Cornish economy. Through this new format, we continue our mission of creating meaningful connections and being a voice for local culture and heritage.
